Webb - Tigert Duo

Lisa Webb and Bob Tigert are seasoned Nashville musical pros, both for LIVE gigs and in recording studios, who are playing Americana, country, rock and roll, R&B, jazz, blues and more..., using an assortment of ukuleles in surprising and engaging ways.
They write much of their material (and they write REALLY well!); and their performances as they travel across the United States have been glowingly described in national media as “awesome,” “compelling,” and “a force to be reckoned with.” And they have been written up as “genuinely nice people.”
“Both of us have played and toured professionally for decades, but NOT on the ukulele,” Lisa Webb remarked, “but that instrument captured our imagination and ignited a new spark of creativity in our individual, and now collaborative musical careers.”
“We’re purposefully playing different kinds of ukuleles in very non-traditional styles, so we don’t sound like a ‘typical’ ukulele project,” explained Bob Tigert. “Part of that, of course, is heard in the kinds of songs we write and perform. But also, we are trying to push the envelopes in arrangements, recording techniques, and with our ‘Live’ performances ... and gratefully, folks are responding positively and enthusiastically!”
The Webb-Tigert Ukulele Duo has headlined 11 Festivals over 14 months (including the Vienna Ukulele Nights in Austria), and constantly plays club dates and concerts around the USA.
Their first album collaboration, "The Webb-Tigert Ukulele Duo", was released in March, 2023, at an international ukulele festival, and audiences and artists from around the globe started playing, singing and recording their songs immediately.
Their second album “Four Strings & The Truth, indeed,” (an all-ukulele country-gospel project, released in April 2024), has been a HUGE favorite in the ukulele community and beyond, both CD sales and in digital downloads, and Webb-Tigert often performs gospel sets at Festivals.
Their newest album is called “Love Ya Love Ya Love Ya” (released on August 1, 2024). In addition to songs by Elvis Presley and Little Feat, they present original songs that range from deeply moving love songs to gritty blues and sophisticated jazz jams
Unique, groove-based, intricate, polished, beautiful, funky – it all applies. The Webb-Tigert Ukulele Duo just might be your new favorite group.

The Furies
from Nashville Tennessee

Nashville’s Furies, named after the Greek goddesses who came up from the underworld to pursue the wicked, are a trio of ladies of a certain age who enjoy making music together. According to the group, “our instruments are a ukulele, a banjolele, a micro bass, a violin, an accordion - and our voices.” Furies’ music draws from the American songbook, gospel, rock’n’roll, Americana, a bit of everything. So…come see and hear the Furies at the 2024 Uketoberfest. If you’re wicked, though, expect to be chased!
